Creation of the Tour de France 2024 website in Monaco

The final stage of the Tour de France 2024 in Monaco, a major event for the Principality, prompted the creation of this site. This 21st and final stage, an individual time trial from Monaco to Nice, is one of the most eagerly awaited of this 111th edition. Expected to attract thousands of cycling fans, this stage requires meticulous organisation and communication.

The main objectives of this project are to facilitate the organisation of the event, provide clear information, promote local tourism and highlight Monaco's historic relationship with cycling.

The new site offers a range of features designed to meet users' needs. It provides practical details of the race route, the race timetable and the activities planned around the event. A section dedicated to mobility informs residents and visitors about transport solutions and traffic information (bus, bike, car, etc.). There's also a link to the Citymapper application to help them get around more easily.

The site also offers tourist suggestions for discovering Monaco's heritage, such as the Larvotto beach and the summer exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum. There is also a special section devoted to the history of cycling in Monaco and its relationship with the Tour de France.

To ensure an optimal user experience, the site is available in three languages: French, English and Italian. It has been developed on Ibexa V.3.3, the version used by the Government of Monaco's other websites. Navigation is fluid and ergonomic thanks to the various blocks integrated into the site (header banner, article feed, ArcGIS interactive maps).

We took over the Government's Design System in order to harmonise it with the visual standards of other government sites (see our projects ) and to maintain a certain consistency and visual identity. The interface is therefore very intuitive. It makes it easy to find the information you need to take part in this Monegasque event.
