Overhaul of the Monaco fire brigade website

The redesign of the Monaco fire brigade's website is a project aimed at modernising and improving the user experience, while consolidating communication and visibility of the Monegasque fire brigade's commitment and services.

The main objectives of the redesign were to provide more intuitive browsing, improve the site's accessibility, and ensure that content could be easily updated by the firefighters in charge of maintaining the site.

We have migrated from eZPublish 5.7 to Ibexa DXP 3.3, the version currently used by the other sites of the Government of Monaco. This version offers a good level of performance, security and greater flexibility in customising blocks.

All the content and images on the old site have been taken over and integrated into the new system to ensure continuity and the preservation of existing information. We adopted the Government's Design System for the fire brigade site in order to harmonise it with the visual standards of other government sites (see our achievements ) and to maintain a certain consistency and visual identity.

We integrated various blocks into the site: a header banner, article feed, contact, etc. We specifically developed the "key figures" block on the home page. This block enables the fire station to communicate its performance and highlights of the year.

The teams in charge of site maintenance at the fire station have been trained in the use of Ibexa DXP. They got to grips with the tool so that they could easily manipulate each of the page builder's blocks.

In conclusion, the functionalities provided by Ibexa are a concrete response to the challenges of modernising and improving the efficiency of the website, by ensuring better content management and a better user experience.
