Quable, the PIM & DAM tool

As an Ibexa partner in Monaco, the Inforca digital agency is proud to present Quable, a French PIM & DAM solution that complements Ibexa DXP.

What is Quable?

Quable is a French SaaS PIM (Product Information Management) and DAM (Digital Asset Management) solution designed to help companies centralise, enrich and distribute their product information across all their sales and communication channels. Quable is tailored to the needs of companies operating in multiple markets.

Designed for marketing, e-commerce, product and IT teams, Quable stands out for its ease of use, its functional power and its ability to streamline exchanges between departments toaccelerate time-to-market. Today, more than 300 brands in 85 countries rely on Quable to manage their catalogues and distribute their content 360°.

Why use a PIM?

Without a dedicated solution, product data is often scattered between ERP, Excel files, translation tools or media stored on shared servers. This method of working generates errors, duplication and delays in updating information, and complicates consistency between media. The PIM acts as a software building block for structuring, enriching and distributing product information.

5 reasons to use Quable PIM

1. Centralise all product information in a single interface (descriptions, visuals, technical data, prices, variations, etc.).

2. Standardise and ensure the reliability of data thanks to completion rules, validations and a structured repository.

3. Speed up time-to-market by automating distribution to the various channels: e-commerce site, marketplace, print, partners, etc.

4. Collaborate between marketing, product, translation and technical teams

5. Better adapt to international markets with native multilingual management and localised content

Collaborative enrichment of product sheets in Quable

Thanks to Quable, the product sheet is a collaborative space. People from different departments can work on content according to defined roles and within a validation framework defined beforehand. To organise this team collaboration, Quable offers the following 4 functions:

Customisable workflows

The validation and progression process that a product sheet undergoes before it is ready for distribution can be fully customised to suit different organisations and channels. It is possible to define who can do what at each stage (role, editing or validation rights), to add conditions for moving from one status to another (e.g. moving to "Ready to publish" only if the sheet has been translated into 3 languages and has all its visuals) or to automate certain transitions.

For example, a company can create a workflow with the statuses "to be enhanced by the product manager" and "to be approved by marketing". As soon as the "to be translated" status is completed, the status automatically changes to "form completed, to be validated".

A system of contextual comments

Each product sheet, each asset and each field of information can be commented on. Rather than sending an e-mail or a message to a colleague, the exchanges are centralised in the product sheet itself, making them more traceable.

For example, if a user notices that an image needs replacing, they can leave a comment directly under the image, assigning the task to a product manager or graphic designer.

Intelligent filters

Quable's built-in intelligent filters enable users to sort, organise and retrieve product sheets, assets or content according to criteria based on a combination of attributes, status or workflow steps.

Filters change dynamically as work progresses. This helps each member of the team to visualise the most relevant information according to their functions and tasks.

For example, a product manager could create a filter that only shows files that have not yet been validated, that need to be translated into English or that are awaiting marketing approval.

Dynamic dashboards

Quable allows users to create their own dashboard by choosing the KPIs, filters and columns they wish to display from among the following:

  • Display all product files that require information (description, technical specifications, missing images, etc.).
  • Create a table showing products that need to be updated urgently or that are behind schedule in relation to validation targets.
  • Track product content by distribution channel (e-commerce site, marketplace, print, etc.).
  • Display the status of workflows (enrichment, validation, translation, etc.).

Distribution of information in several languages and on all channels

The Quable platform enables product data to be distributed across a wide range of channels:

  • E-commerce sites and platforms: synchronisation with DXPs or CMSs such as Ibexa, Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce.
  • Marketplaces: automatic sending of product data sheets to Amazon, Cdiscount or eBay, using format adapters.
  • Printed media: create catalogues or documents using InDesign or PDF, with data that is always up-to-date and consistent.
  • Physical points of sale: transmission of structured data to in-store terminals or interactive kiosks.

Centralising and managing media in Quable

Quable's DAM (Digital Asset Management) function enables you to centralise all your multimedia resources (images, videos, technical documents, PDF files) in a single, secure space. Thanks to advanced search, intelligent filters and access rights management, marketing, sales and technical teams can quickly find the right file, in the right version.

Quable's DAM can also automatically transform formats (resizing images, converting files, etc.) to adapt immediately to the constraints of each channel.
